They are different since they both go different pathways, therefore also have different bioavailabilities. Snorting it will bring it directly to the lungs via the trachea then to the blood, while oral medications will bring it first to the gastrointestinal system then to the liver, then to the blood. The faster it reaches the blood, the more viable it is since more of the original substance is preserved. This is why you felt the effects faster. But, with snorting, you an easily overdose with it as compared with taking it orally.
