Can I take Concerta and Adderall together?

I am a 27 y/o male with ADD. The issue: I go to school in the mornings and I work in the evenings, so my days usually stretch about 14 hours. Concerta is an 8-hour medication, Adderall is a 6-hour medication. I am not worried about falling asleep as I have been prescribed Lunesta for insomnia (and it works wonders). I am wondering if I can take the Concerta in the mornings and when I go to work around 2, take the Adderall (or a smaller dose of Concerta)?
