I took Concerta XL for almost 3 years. I am inclined to agree that it probably does. But for me, it instilled a sense of urgency to do a particular thin as soon as possible. So I'm inclined to think you are correct. Doctors are resistant to admit negative findings against "cash-cow" drugs, fearing a backlash from pharmaceutical companies. Doctors make a great deal of money from the companies.
