A question for anyone with RLS or anyone taking the following medications: Provigil, Seroquel, or Lamictal
1. If you are taking one of the meds I mentioned, did you experience any discomfort/weird sensations or movements in your legs and feet? I take these medications and I am experiencing some serious restless leg syndromes. It is very uncomfortable. What in these medications could be causing this?

1. To anyone who has RLS - what do you do to ease your symptoms? I'm having a really hard time falling asleep at night because it gets so intense.

Thanks!

Oh my goodness....seroquel made my RLS so bad that I couldn't take it. It made me feel like I was crawling out of my skin all the time. I even had the sensation in my arms- it was awful!!
The only thing that has helped my RLS is Xanax before bed, which a dr prescribes me for it. It helps calm all that stuff down so I don't have to move my legs all night. I also get prescribed one vicodin, because narcotic pain killers have been shown to be very effective in stopping the condition. But I know some drs are afraid to prescribe those things, so work on getting a dr who will. I've tried all the meds, and they are the only thing that works
