Topix has to be populated by the absolutely dumbest bunch of drug dealers on the planet.
At least the cowboys slinging their drugs on this Silk Road site don't publish their actual email addresses and cell phone numbers on an unsecured Internet public discussion board.
You (and these topix dealers) might be amazed at how easy it is to link this personal information to home addresses, employers, arrest records and family members' contacts.
What's also amazing to me is that even the potential buyers are often dumb enough to post their personal info as well.

I have also read a bunch of different forum posts on Topix. I would be to scared of being setup by the cops rather then being scammed. It is just so blatantly open to everyones eyes. I like this site a lot seems to be a bunch of good people on here.

Topix is 99% scam, never send any money to anyone on that site, you will be ripped off and even f2f are pretty much a crapshoot. Ill never use anyone on that site again. Stay way from it if your looking for meds.

I've actually come from Topix, well I actually had this account before my Topix account but I posted there much more often you will see if you ever find my profile. There are some decent people there and you do also get genuine people looking for help, with addiction and such I feel it would be much better if they were able to come to a community like this one. But of course you also get a huge selection of horrible people, the best is just to ignore them.

The Silk Road is the place to find all kinds of items that might be hard to find otherwise. There was an article on gawker that explains it,

It has seller ratings like ebay and all kinds of security. Not totally simple to use especially the first time, but worth checking out and to not waste your time and money on Topix.

I actually heard about SilkRoads from Topix when it was invite only . I don't think you can compare the two . Topix is like the projects * Silk Roads on thee other hand much thought and preperation was put put into the making of that site I know after the Gawker article plenty of people went down that Road but it also got two Senators attentions I believe . Topix has been in the news lately alot someone intercepted their kids package the dad is pissed and when parents get pissed people start going to jail { mainly topix sellers } ........ With Silk Roads though the buyers are the most vulnerable to LE

To be fair "someone I know" has been able to buy dexedrine and crystal meth on topix.. just have to avoid the 90% scammers, it's not 100%.. Just don't be dumb and look for multiple good feedback by trusted posters.

Yes, Topix is really something... A chaotic huge collection of scammers and shillers trying to trick you in all possible ways..
And then you have a whole lot of desperate people that are willing to do whatever it takes to nail down what ever x they are after.
Exposing their e-mails and mobile numbers in public.. I’ve seen it too many times. It’s kind of sad I think.
Imagine how much money that has gone into the pockets of scammers there…
By the other hand, I have been into there occasionally over the last years.
Bought some stuff too occasionally, and have received exactly what the deal was and good quality as well.

But be skeptic, very skeptic..
You have to browse trough 99 scammers to find the one that actually have what he/she claim to have – and actually send it to you once you given them your money.
In the whole bunch there, you can sometimes find a decent person to deal with, but I wouldn’t depend on it.

The only "successful" order I've ever heard of from that site is my friend (IRL) got some random capsules from that site that were marketed to him as dextrine, but clearly were not... Just some random probably-bathtub amphetemine RC put in a Magnesium Oxide capsule.

Yeah, alright, I have to admit this here. Even after having been around awhile I was lured in by the promise of having these people e mailing me right away and being my buddy and seeming as legit as anyone could seem. Wow, I got ripped off for more than $800 in the first week i was on Topix. from 3 different vendors. That is how is came down. Think about that.

You may think me an idiot and you would not be far off if I got ripped off that easy right? But, that is what made it so tricky, I thought I knew every angle. They know way more than you will ever think of and they have a free reign to practice them there. it is something else. now I go therefor entertainment value. but, only after i lock up my wallet good and tight!

Please stay away from there !!! Scammer alert to the sky and mile high . Listen its a no brainer really , just stay away all together . I know of another that may be black listed on here and if not yet should be cause he is a big time scammer who still has a web site up and running .. He is probley delivering some but know of others , like me who have been burnt by this guy

Agreed! Topix is a scam. The site itself is legit but the people on there are not trustworthy. I attempted to make contact with one person. As soon as I heard his voice it sounded exactly like the guy that originally screwed me over. Sure enough I asked more questions and it was him, I dont have the email otherwise I would have shared it.

Yes - I found the TOPIX threads to be no better than graffiti on a wall at a public restroom.

Full of scammers.

This site seems to be much more helpful and legitimate in terms of real knowledge and useful advice!

Thanks for the feedback on Topix - went there looking for some advice and some direction on resources that aren't scammers - thought it looked a little scary!

Topix is only good for f2f, other options good 2% the time, and even then I wouldnt call it safe. Very few/ no legit mail vendors. I met one on topix who was legit, but it was just luck, two run different regions of my area and advertise through topix and positive feedback. How they have not been brought down by now is anyone's guess. Guy turned out to be cool never short never pull crud, but maybe I was lucky, or unlucky because he had an unnamed opiate I was naive about and almost OD's on, thats why I rather stick with doctors and a steady plan, not just looking to get "high" like a junky even though you rationalize you need the pain relief off the streets encourages abuse, at least for me, even off the internet for that matter.

long story short, only way to work topix if f2f in an open public area, even then I was scared it could be a cop, they could be a bad guy. Such a crap shoot even though I suppose I got lucky and found a guy who had everything f2f and was legit, wish I never messed with that site, for most, unless you are very very street smart, I suggest not too.

and I also hope I discussed nothing illegal or against forum rules if I did please someone bring it to my attention so I can modify it.

I agree to an extent with your point but what might be immoral, wrong "dishonest" in some peoples eyes just by the profession of it, you need to take it a bit deeper. There are professionals out there who are compassionate, nice, could do great in any other business why they chose illegal is very sad. But yes I have seen many honest ones in the sense if they were short they rush back the next day to make it right. But Alumni is correct the business is filled with liars, cheats, and scoundrels too often for the most part due to the consequences of the "war on drugs" it attracts the worst of the worst. Not mention its dangerous, so for many who are not street smart enough, or for people period, stay away.

I think just because you have a website to hide behind does not mean you are not a drug dealer, you are, and may very well be just as bad if not worse to your customers. in the long run.

Even more than getting scammed, I would be worried about the LE when using vendors from there.

This was my main worry, being LE and arrested in a sting. I had no worries of being robbed because I set it up correct, but that concern haunted me until I realized I was okay. Still wouldn't recommend, I feel immature even admitting I have done this. Took a few beers to courage up let me tell you, I am not a drug addict, had no reason, I need a therapist I think because there was no reason for me to be doing that (looking for particular med(s)) although it turned out A ok....im conflicted with my decision making to say the least but never again.

Never order from noone who sell on Topix! Its 99% scam. I know 2 guys who order from two differnt sourcess there, and never receive the order. So I sugest stay away....
