Tracking Royal Mail with USPS tracking

Anyone else having trouble tracking their order from the UK using USPS .My order was shipped on Sept.5 .On Sept.7 it showed up with Royal Mail tracking it was in destination country .So far my order has not showed up on tracking here in the USA using USPS tracking .My last Package showed up in 9 days but never showed up on tracking until it got here at my local post office .The last order before that came in 7 days and tracking worked at every location .The one before that came in 11 days but tracking never showed up after it had showed up at the sorting facility 100 to 120 miles north of here .What should have took one day to get here from north of here took two days .The tracking label had been torn off of it .I had to catch a ride 10 miles to my local post office 2 days in a row walking most of the way .I am a 61 yr old man .I keep myself in good condition most of the time but that was too much for me .I may have rode my mountain bike but that still would have been too much for me since most of the way back is uphill and I have to push my bike quite a bit on way back in several long steep inclines .
I called my local post office around 2:15 pm today and nothing was there for me .Hopefully it will be here tomorrow or the next day if and when tracking shows up here at my local post office .
I live in the southern part of the Northeast .After I had trouble back in June with my package not being scanned here .I emailed my source and the next package had scan marked on it .That was when it got here in 7 days .The tracking label is in plain view and in my opinion there is no excuse for it not to get scanned .
All my source can do is ship it to me .The rest is up to Royal Mail and USPS .

Yes my order from shaz was shipped from the UK using royal mail on the 9/6 and arrived in Canada on the 9/8. On the Royal mail website tracking number just states "item as been passed to ******** postal service for delivery in Canada" and thats it.

I tried using the tracking number on canada post,UPS & DHL websites but does not not come back with any results. Dosent recognize the number. This is my first order from any IOP and i am very nervous. Im on my 8th day but still have hope it will arrive soon

20 days now - as my pack shipped on 8/27. Longest wait I have ever had with shaz, but there was a hurricane the weekend it left the UK.

So, I've never had a problem with the tracking numbers tracking the progress of a package, but it seems like I'm the exception.

Many report that USPS tracking doesn't often work and is often updated after the package is delivered.

For me it's weird because the pack was scanned on Sunday from Bethpage, NY sort facility. Haven't heard a word since.

Anyone know if "processed through sort facility" means that it is in transit?

Yes if it was scanned at Bethpage ,NY you should be getting it any day now ,I usually get mine within 2 to 3 days after it is scanned at Bethpage,NY .mine usually shows up at each location after that .which is only one other place other than than my local post office .
At least you know yours is on its way .Mine has still yet to show up anywhere here in the USA .I called my local post office again today and it still had not showed up .I asked my local post master to be sure to scan it so I would not have to call him .
I ordered from Prescribe4U .Right before I ordered the rules changed and Prescribe4U was placed in the restricted section .Posting in this section gives me a chance to ask other people about their experiences with other sources shipping from the UK .
We had quite bit of rain here ,maybe it was just as well my package did not show up .Since I stated above I do not have any transportation to my post office except for walking and hitch hiking or riding my mountain bike .
Been gaining a little weight in my mid section so maybe the ride or hike to the post office might get rid of a couple pounds for me .I tell people it just a workout for me anyway .I have a thousand things I could be working on here at my house but need to get away from time to time .
I hope you get your package tomorrow since it was scanned Sunday .Maybe they are still a little behind in the Northeast with all the recent power outages they had there recently .

I had a package shipped on 09/08 and it still is not in the usps system. I have ordered from shaz 4 times before and it usually showed up in usps in about 2 days. not sure what's going on? anyone else receiving or having this problem?

Just checked tracking ,this a c&p of the message I got ;
Your item was processed through our BETHPAGE, NY 11714 facility on September 15, 2011 at 2:35 pm. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.
I hope it shows up by Saturday .Probably my luck it will not be here until Monday or Tuesday .

Did you ever get your package ? Tracking for my package has not showed up any more since being scanned at Bethpage,NY Thursday .I am still getting the same message it was showing Thursday .I was hoping to maybe to get it at my local post office today .I called my local post office too see if it was there but it had not shown up yet .I guess it will take another 1 or 2 business days to show up since just getting priority mail from that part of the country can take 2 to 3 days .Today is just the second day .
Looks like I may be right when I said above I may not get it until Monday or Tuesday .I do not have enough posts yet to read in the restricted section to see other peoples experiences with other UK vendors .

I thought I would check my tracking to see if it had updated about 30 minutes ago .I did not think USPS worked on Sundays despite the above poster saying their package was scanned last Sunday .
This is the first time it has happened but my package was scanned again at 11:02 am this morning again at the Bethpage,NY sorting facility .I was hoping the next activity I might see was were it was scanned at the sorting facility 100 to 120 miles north of here or see it scanned tomorrow at my local post office .
Looks like as slow as it is progressing I may not get it before the end of the week .Tuesday or Wednesday at the earliest .

haven't had a tracking update since last Sunday as I mentioned before.

It's hard to say, but it doesn't normally take week from new york.

I have read a poster mention that his pack bounced around bethpage and was scanned several times before being sent out.

I have no more info I guess I just have to hope for the best.

My order also finally updated from shaz, was shipped on 09/08, on 09/18 now shows
Your item was processed through our BETHPAGE, NY 11714 facility on September 18, 2011 . Hopefully, It will show up some time this week, but reading the other posts, I won't hold my breath.

You may receive it faster than you think. Sometimes mine from her say processing for ******** for a week or so and then arrive in the states and I get it that day or the next. I am on east coast though.

I think you will be fine. I have never had a letter from Shaz not make it.

I am currently waiting for one that says it shipped on 9/12. It usually takes 11-14 days.

I am anxiously waiting too ,dorkus .Mine still says was scanned in Bethpage,NY Sunday at 11;08 AM .In the past it usually most of time has taken 2 days to get here from Bethpage,NY or the sorting some wheres there in New Jersey .I started to call my post office since once the tracking label got removed before it got here even though tracking had showed up here in the USA .
Were are you located ?it may take 3 days to reach you from NY .Just like priority mail .I used the Airsure method ordering from P4U .even if mine is scanned tomorrow morning at my local post office it does not show up on the net until after 12 pm despite it is usually scanned around 8:15 to 8:30 am .If tracking does not show up tomorrow I will call my post office .I kind of wish I had called today .My postmaster told me to call anytime I wanted to .I called 3 times last thinking I may have got it around last Monday to last Wednesday .To repeat above mine was shipped on Sept.5th and I ordered on Sept.2nd .Today makes 18 days since ordering .
I have a cousin named Dorcus.I wonder why we all are having such slow shipping times ?Did they already make cutbacks in the postal system and layoff postal employees?

Thanks for the update Mountaineer, I am in NC, and my order shipped 09/08, this is the longest I've waited for an order from shaz, its usually about 7 days from shipping to receiving, will update when I receive, hopefully tomorrow for both of us!

dorkus - this is also the longest i have waited on shaz - but it's interesting that all of ours seem to be late showing up and then lagging, at least a scan, out of bethpage.

That's a new entry point for my packs.

Anyways, mountaineer, how do you go about inquiring about a pack that's in the system, but lagging now 25 days. Any advice?

I really do not know any other way than to keep checking tracking or to call my local post office .you may have called your local post office or if you get your mail at your posy office like I do .You may have went to the post office to check your mail .I think it is totally disgusting that your package has not been scanned again somewhere in the system .mine was not scanned last time until Picked up at the post office like confirmation of delivery but I used registered mail last time .there was no option for Airsure .
All I know for you to do is keep checking tracking and check your local post office out by calling them or going to it .
Good luck to both of you .I hope we all 3 get our package tomorrow .I keep praying everyday my package will show up my prayers are not being answered .My packages usually show up in at least 7 to 9 days after being shipped .There is not much activity in the senior section about anybody getting their orders from the vendors that ship from the UK.I did read were a few people said it has been taking 16 to 20 days lately .I am not sure if that was total time or just shipping time .If so tomorrow will be my 16th day of shipping time .

Good news ,I should have checked tracking before I posted .I was getting ready to c&p the tracking number to check too see if it had updated but decide to respond to thread updates I had got first .I really never had much faith anything would show up .
Part of my prayers were answered .My tracking showed up as being scanned in Charleston,WV at 4:18 pm .That is about 100 miles north of here .I hope it gets here tomorrow .All but one of my packages have took one day to show up from Charleston,WV .That one came 2 days later .Unless I call the post office in the morning I will not know until usually after 12 pm like I think I posted above if I have got my package .I am not much of a morning person so I may just wait to see if the tracking shows up after 12 pm then call .

Things do seem to be moving slowly out of bethpage - still concerned as mine hasn't been heard from in 9 days

My package was scanned at 8:13 am this morning this morning at my local post office .I was not expecting to show up to later .I actually did not check it until about 9 am .Weather forecast said rain nearby so I got a friend to take me to the post office to pick it up .Instead of riding my mountain bike .
Stayed bust all day just visiting with my friend his wife and later another friend and his wife and sister .Been setting here in front of the PC checking my tracking several times a day going completely crazy .I had to absolutely get out even though I had a 1000 things to around my house .Got back out later and rode my mountain bike to see my other friend .We had not been around one another in a long time even though him and his wife are more like my close family relatives instead of just friends .Same reason I spent time with my other friend and his wife
Could comment a little more but would be geeing off thread topic plus I do want to double post about getting my order from P4U .

Wolfpack hope you get your package soon .I can not understand why you have not already got it .

If its anything like Chicago, the USPS tracking system is a day or 2 behind.
