Package Stalled In Jamaica, NY!

yes i sent a pack from DC to LA...promised one week delivery....two weeks???? WTF! Chritsmas gift to boot.

Yeah, I'm kinda pissed off at Amazon right now, because I ordered a Christmas gift for my daughter and paid for 2-day shipping. That was a couple of weeks ago, and it still isn't here. They told me it would be here by the 22nd and now they are telling me 27th -- AFTER Christmas is already over. Ah well, I suppose I should have ordered sooner. I've learned my lesson.

finally got out of bethpage, ny this morning, eleven days after shipping from origin post. have learned my lesson about ordering during december that is for sure

Same thing happened to me. My package vanished from the sorting facility and the tracking number showed the same location for 5 days straight. I ended up calling UPS and after some poking around it was recovered. Very unpleasent week to say the least.

23 business days (counting saturdays, is that the right way to count shipping days?) and still waiting. I feel you about be nervous, this just sucks

Just to add some perspective on how slow the mail is going at this time, I recently had to wait 23 days on a package that would normally arrive between 10-14 days.

since December 31, 2011 at 2:07 PM. I thought I read somewhere online today that it could be on its way, but this thread seems to indicate that it is sitting in New York. I'll let you all know when it gets through.

@deadhorse -- I'm so sorry to be getting to this so late... I didn't see this post until now. No, it wasn't SS4U, but it WAS a foreign pharmacy. I was waiting on a package from Clickremedy. They ship out of Thailand. Have you received your package now, by any chance?

Mines has said that same thing for around the same amount of time as well. Guess I shouldn't have ordered after Christmas. I wouldn't worry though, the post office JUST started running again today.

Well, the status was updated pretty soon after I posted this. It was delivered on 1/4/2011. So I guess Origin Post Is Preparing Shipment in this case meant that it was en route to my local sort facility on its way to a mail truck. Now if I could only talk about the quality of what I received, but that thread appears to be reserved for senior members.
