Couldn't be a more true statement. In and out of customs in the same scan -- I am gonna assume at the very least same day. Then delivered 2 days later half way across the US. Bravo, SF I wish I could request going through this HUB. May just keep this vendor solely based on the ISC his packages go through.

  3. I recently placed an order Oct 1st ems and made it to San Fran and has been in customs since the 10th. I will update this as soon as I receive word as I think it's important to share my experience as others will run into the same.

Anyone had anything go through SAN Fran lately? My letter is in this ISC right now and I've never had any go through anywhere but NY. I'm curious what to possibly expect for their wait times?

I was wondering the same thing @ANC. Its been awhile since I had one go through here, but past experiences have been good. Both mine are inbound as we speak.

Lots of good posts from years ago though, lets hope nothing has changed!

@jayther let me know when yours makes it through. It's been several days for mine now so I'm getting slightly worried.

Same here, the vendor I use has always gone through ISC NY. I was startled to see it scanned at ISC SF this morning. I wonder why the switch?

I have had a couple packages go through SF for no apparent reason..They usually go through NY. People say NY is safer my experiences were speedy.

I had NY letter in customs for over 10 days and that is a long time. Sometimes things get buried and don't go through smoothly as far as I can tell.

Well crap. My package has now been in customs for over 4 days. I'm hoping it makes it through but I guess we shall see.

@ANC, I did receive 1 of my 2 orders that went through SF. My second one is concerning me a bit because it has been in customs for 4 or 5 days now, a pretty large order too....From my understanding if it doesn't move in 2 weeks once it hits customs its most likely a goner and you will receive an LL. Fingers crossed for us.

@ANC, did yours move? Mine has been inbound since 1/30. Its not looking good for me at this point.

Any West Coasters have recent experience from SF?

Mine has been in ISC SF since 2/2. Im hoping there is a lot of commerce due to incoming spring and they are just busy.

EDIT: Still inbound since 2/2. Longest yet for me.

Nope. None. Still sitting in customs but I haven't gotten a letter yet so who knows. I'm not betting on it showing up although I'd be happy to be wrong. First time anything has went through this ISP for me and I've got say I hope nothing else ever does.

  17. I had a letter depart SF ISC 4 days after arriving and then circle between 94188 and 94128 a few times. No scans since arrived 94188 which was about 5 days ago. Would expect First Class to arrive by now from those ZIPs!

After 2 weeks in SF ISC I received a LEO letter. This is the first time I've ever gone through SF. Curse you east coast storms.

  19. First time for me going through sfo, and wow! 1 day from customs to delivery at my door. I do live on the west coast but usually things take a lot longer to get to me from San Francisco than a day, plus it went thru customs. Freakin awesome, India to delivery in 6 days total.

They must randomly pick bins of mail for inspection. Either your stuff sits for a week or 2 or flies through SF.

  21. I gotta update this cos I made my incredulous post about the speed of delivery but I hadn't picked up yet. Letter had been opened with green customs taped back up! All contents intact tho, what the heck.
