Can't search for medication anymore?

I used to be able to search for medications on the home page, and a list of sites that sold them, etc., would come up. This feature no longer appears for me, though. Where has it gone and will it be back? it was very helpful.

@khanmech and @Shayna I'm sorry that was removed without warning. I am working on getting the price comparison feature back up as soon as possible. It looks like it won't be ready for a few days though. I'll keep you posted.

This is a post, I have no idea how long the post is supposed to be, so I will just ramble on a bit, because I read that short posts do not count. Of course, I know "these types" of boards frown on people making posts just to get their numbers up. Believe me, I do not want to have access to "secret areas" or "spooky places", just want to be able to see the links and pictures. Oh, and I like this topic. very good info on search.

I don't think in the years I was on DB I ever posted 50 posts...people were dismissed and lots of fighting went on.. who would want to post to that. The 'secret areas' of PR are probably not that 'secret' but I hope this post counts too!

Sometimes it is hard for a new person to figure it all out. It gets a little boring reading through posts but that seems to be working for me. Hope soon I can reach that magic goal. (but i type so slow, might be 2018)

I find this site very reliable and friendly. It feels like the community on this site really do seem to look out for each other and care. I'm not trying to bump up my number of posts by writing this, I just wanted to say the above.

You've hit the nail or so to speak, most are expecting a neon lit street with large Marquis's everywhere when you make the qualifying post to enter the "promised land" with a lot of reading of the archives alot of information can be had before entering the senior zone, and yes many refugees from the old DB board that lurked but never posted due to the trolls, the bickering over senseless issues find themselves here to be able to share their information without having to fear a bunch of pompous opinionated jackasses that are waiting to criticize every period in your post, You'll be surprised how quick the count will go...

@drboris Well I finally went looking for a thread like this because for a week or so I've noticed the absence of the price-checker. I noticed it missing right after I recommended that someone try using it. Doh! So I hope your "repair" work is going well.

I also missed the medication search on the home page. However ... when it was up and I did a search, all the pharmacies that came up were either already in the blacklisted area or had comments such as "do not buy from so-and-so because it's a scam and you will lose your money and ..." well, you know.

@khanmech and @Shayna the medicine search box is back on the front page. However in many cases the results need updating, which I will start working on next week. I think there's still some good pharmacies listed in the results though, and anyone can glance at their star ratings (based on user reviews) in the results table and click on the pharmacy name to read those reviews before deciding whether they are reliable.

Sounds good @drboris. Ever sense I joined the list has been a bit outdated. Granted it would be nearly impossible to keep it completely updated with vendors always changing, disappearing, selective scamming. I would be willing to help in anyway I can, but the majority of vendors are based on bias experiences. If one package doesn't show up for someone they write them off as if they are the worst vendor ever despite others still receiving. Still I would love to see the list updated as well I think it would benefit everyone. If there is anything I can do let me know.
