mods - problem with quick reply?

Almost every time I try to post a quick reply it says something about a bad security token, and I have to leave and come back to be able to do it. I should have copy and pasted the exact error but now of course when I want it to happen it wouldn't do it. Just wondering if it's just me or something with the site.

Same here. I tried to make a post & this is the message I got:

Your submission could not be processed because a security token was invalid.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

Oh there's another question. Do we not put @ before a name anymore to do that? If so, why do I keep seeing the @ before the mentioned name in my actual post. I don't remember it doing that before.

The @ and a name tags someone and is still needed to be used as far as i know; there is a issue that some of us don't get the notifications all the time ( me being one of them ) a solution was to post like this @orangeGorilla; the colon is a fixer...-@kmontayne @drboris @Kris @tinmuning I also recieved a bad security token a little while ago and had to log out and log in- @orangeGorilla might just have been a systems hiccup?

That happens to me sometimes---although its more of a vbulletin error. Hope @drboris can shed some light into this issue.

I have not had the bad security token issue mentioned here by others, but I too have failed to be notified when @nopizza @orangeGorilla or @H20shed65 is used to mention. Is capitalization recognized using this system or is it irrelevant? Anyone know? Just curious.

@H20shed65, caps are irrelevant, the system fixes it for you when you post. I also miss a lot of my mentions, but some of those are because people I talk to all the time forget the '30'
