does zoloft decrease high blood pressure
it calms your anxiety dow which means your heart rate goes down, but does it increase or decrease your blood pressure or does it have no affect? someone told me it decreases which is why people have lower sex drives when on these kind of meds because their blood pressure is lower and doesnt flow like it use to, to 'that area' as fast or as much. thank u. best answer gets 10 points.

The effect of Zoloft on the sex drive has nothing to do with a decrease in blood pressure. Any effect Zoloft might have on blood pressure is purely incidental - there is no proof it has any measurable effect on blood pressure.

The effect on the sex drive has to do with changes in brain chemicals, which in turn produce the beneficial effects of lowering anxiety, reducing depression, etc.

Try http://www.drugs.com and doing a search for Zoloft or sertraline (the generic form of Zoloft). You'll probably get the best information there.
