Is the pill Hydrocodone/APAP 10/325 the same as Hydroco/APAP 10/325
My husband got his RX filled at 2 different pharmacies and they gave him two different pills. I was just wondering if they were from the same family since the names are similar and the Narcotic and acetominophene dosages are the same.

if you ever have doubts about medications......NEVER,NEVER,NEVER just take someone's word for it. Call the pharmacy near you, even the one ON THE BOTTLE, and ask them. If you want DEFINITE answers, ask the source. I'm not talking down about the people that offered you answers to this question, they probably know what they're talking about, but don't ever take chances with medications!! If you, or someone you know, take a drug that "might" be something sort of like what you were supposed to take, it could end up killing you. Pharmacies will answer just about any question you can think of about medications. But you have to ask first. I'll be willing to bet that it took more time for you to post this question than if you would have just called the pharmacy and asked them.

Yes they're the same. It's just the differences in the software the pharmacy computer's use. If the pills look different it's because they have 2 different manufacturers. Somewhere on the bottle it should state the manufacturer, probobly mallinkrodt or teva or someother generic drug man.
