commercial name - Tylenol (which most people say when they just mean some pain reliever), or Kleenex (when they just mean tissue).

brand name can be the same, but saying Motrin is a brand name, or Puffs.

Generic - a "house brand" - for example, Top Brand cleaning products carried by Kroger's (who know's who makes it). Most common are generic prescriptions, known by their chemical name (acetominaphin).

Brand Generic - some compaies, like Costco or Sam's Club, have a house brand that actually has branding. For example, American Choice or President's brand works to have a high quality recogniztion - they sell products such as coffee cream, vegetables, et al.
