I lost a bunch of weight on Phentermine but then it came back after 2...
...years. Can I do it without Phentermine? I need some major diet help. I know this is kind of long but I need suggestions.

I am six feet one inch tall with a large frame and weighed 212 in high school. (I looked and felt good at that weight) First year out of high school I weighed 223. Then went up a to 246.

Then I got sick it and went from 245 to 218 in six weeks. The first twenty came off in about month. This was when I was taking Phentermine. The first nine days I ate only a bowl of cereal (I went back and forth between wheeties and total raisin bran) for a meal. Then I would eat something small for supper like fish or something totally easy to burn off. Then I rode my bicycle to the lake and went swimming for as long as I could and rode back.

I was miserable a lot of the time. It made me a crazy person at work and I had a short fuse. Also the pills were so expensive.

I maintained pretty well until I had two very close loved ones die and got lazy. Now I need to do it again.
I have had a hard time trying to do the same thing again because the pills make me crazy, I'm starved without them, I try not to take them and I fall off the wagon, and it's hard to exercise in the winter.

So now I've got plenty to lose.

And is there anything over the counter I could take that won't make me crazy that isn't expensive?

Pills are dangerous, and are only a temporary solution. Try Weight Watchers. It's a lifestyle change, but you can still eat the things you enjoy, as long as you stay in the plan.
