My doctor put me on these diet pills called " phentermine. and i already

lost 17 lbs in 2 weeks. Is this safe? i got on the pill jan 17th, 2008 and i was 160lbs... now im and a 143 lbs ( today feb 1st, 2008) .

to help you out my height is 5"0 so im not that tall..

i just want to know if this is safe. cause i dont want to hurt my body.

also something else that could help you out is that i am 19 years old...

the doctor put me on this pill cause my blood pressure was high cause of my weight gain whiched was caused by me taking the depo shoot..which i have been off of for about a yea and a half..and i did not lose anything when i got off of it.. i was a 115lbs before the shot and thats what i want to get back down to.

I'm not a doctor, but I think you are losing too much to soon.
Go back to your doctor and let him monitor the weight loss more closely. Also what is your plan once you come off these pills...you will just gain weight again.

I'm concerned for you this is not a natural way to lose weight. I have been tempted myself by this before but not succumbed.
