What's the usual starting dose for Zoloft?

What's the usual starting dose for Zoloft

Is it 25 or 50mg? I cannot remember what my psych said but he certainly didn't say 1 and 1/2 pills like on the bottle label...i wont be able to ask him until monday but i took a 50mg yesterday..
i have anxiety and mild depression
