about valium?

i was on Xanax .5 mg. 2 times a day ,they kinda helped me but today i took a 10 mg valium. (im not prescribed to my medication again yet) but i think it works better then the Xanax. how could i go about telling my pschologist/therepist about this without trying to come off as though im ''pill fishing'' so to speak?

You could simply be honest with the psych. You're obviously 'pill fishing' because your current prescription (i.e.nothing) isn't satisfactory.

Before you ask about/for Valium though, it might be an idea to read about it. It is notoriously addictive.
