Hydrocodone causing cramps?

So I have migraines and I take Hydrocodone for them but recently every time i take it I seem to get really bad lower stomach cramps? I have read everything i can find on the net about this and noone has mentioned if it can cause cramps or not So does anyone know or have heard of it causing this before I havent got around to askin my doc about it

Ask your doctor for Topamax, it's for migraine headaches and seizures. Hydrocodone is for pains in the body.

To put it simply, it can irritate the lining of your stomach but what you may be experiencing is slow gut. It slows down the movement in your bowels. That causes cramping and slow digestion and constipation.
