How much should I worry about hydrocodone showing up in a urine drug test...
...taken 8 days after taking 2 pills? The pills were mine left over from an operation I had a couple of years ago. I was having bad cramps with the addition of being sore from a long trip to the zoo the day before. I didn't really think much about it because I figured they were mine and I wasn't doing anything for the rest of the day. I am not an abuser or addict - I was given 20 pills after the operation and still have 3 left.
Almost an hour after I took them I got a phone call with a job offer. I took the drug test on Thursday (the 28th) and the pills on Wednesday (the 20th). I didn't really think about it before but a friend brought it up to me that they might show up and now I am stressing out. The receptionist lady did tell me that it was a panel test so I do think that, if detectable, they will show up.
How much should I worry? Does anyone know if employers will listen to reasons for them being there or is it more of a "pass/fail" situation? If it matters - I am a 25 years old with a larger build
