Zoloft withdrawl... re-taking it... please answer.
I have been taking zoloft for almost a year now. im up to 100mg. its actually helping a lot. we just moved 600miles away and i ran out of meds. they are getting filled at the pharmacy now, but i havent taken my zoloft for 3 or 4 days. i dont know if im getting sick on my own or if im having withdrawl. my head is sooo cloudy, i cant concentrate at all! im so fuzzy and i have horrible anxiety. i also cannot sleep at all!! usually i sleep 10 hours/day... i couldnt sleep 5! Im miserable and i cant stop crying. im so dizzy and cant walk straight. i also feel like i have flu symptoms. my meds will be ready tonight, and i will start taking them around 8p.m... will i be okay to start taking it again? will all these symptoms go away?? any advice. i know i will never let this happen again! pls dont say go 2 dr... i just moved i dont have 1 yet... anything at all is great!!! thanks so much!!

That is something you should at least call your Dr. for.......they say it is very dangerous to come off of zoloft and you are at a VERY high dosage.

But......when I went cold turkey (haha I am one to talk) I literally felt like I was on a Hallucinogenic drug. I was paranoid, anxious, seeing things fuzzy in colors. I am sure you are withdrawling!

I really think you should call your Dr. and let him know. I would never start retaking that med without asking. It could be very dangerous. You are suppose to gradually get to 100 mg and gradually taper off.

I have heard off people dying from not taking there meds then popping the usual dosage and not waking up........so think smart, good luck!

FYI I was only on 20mg.........

Try to relax, I know it is easier said then done.....Begin taking them tonight, you will be fine. I have had to do what you are , waiting for prescription. Often, we panic because we do not have our meds.....
