Lexapro for Treatment of Generalized Anxiety Disor

This is my most effective SSRI for treating my chronic anxiety. I have no weight gain, and I still drink alcohol while on it. It began working after three weeks. I don't have loopy side effects that make me act differently, I still have my focus,...

Paxil for Acute Anxiety

My doctor (OBGYN) prescribed Paxil for me when I was going through a severe anxiety crisis. One of those that our parents would have called a nervous breakdown. My best friend was dying, my marriage was dying, and we'd all just experienced 9-11 here in the U.S., and my brain...

Wellbutrin ER for depression and libido

After being on SSRI's for antianxiety, my anxiety was gone, but so was my libido. Wellbutrin at the max dose has helped recover my libido and provide a mild mood lift. It is subtle, but enough.

Ambien Works TOO Long for Me!

I have struggled with insomnia for most of my adult life. When I tried Ambien, it worked wonders to put me to sleep and keep me asleep, but then 8 hours later, I still slept. It took about 12 hours to feel normal again. Just too long acting for me....

Stalevo for Parkinsons Disease

I've taken Stalevo for 5 years. I've had no issues with it. It treats my Parkinsons the same as using the separated pills for Sinemet and Comtan. It is nice to have one pill instead of two. I currently take 20 pills a day for Parkinsons and other ailments,...

Comtan for Parkinsons Disease

NOTE: This review is for using Comtan (entacapone) for the treatment of Parkinsons Disease I've used Comtan for 15 years in combination with Sinemet. Comtan is used with Sinemet to lessen the "end of dose" effect, where the Sinemet seems to wear off before it's time for...

Sinemet for Treatment of Parkinsons Disease

NOTE: This review is for using Sinemet for treatment of idopathic Parkinsons Disease (PD). My neurologist prescribed a low dose of Sinemet when I was first diagnosed with PD, 15 years ago. My initial symptoms were small finger tremors and micrografia. The Sinemet worked to control...
