Safe to mix adderall 20MG XR with hydroxycut

My heart was racing like a lab rat the other day. I believe it could have been severe lack of sleep plus working out a lil too hard, but I thought I'd ask, as this was the first time I've taken both in the same day. I took Hydroxycut last summer with outstanding results. Shed 15 lbs in 11 weeks. Anyone know for sure if it's a safe mix?

i wouldn't take either just work out and eat protein 5/6 times a day... hydroxy cut makes you lose weight fast itl come back faster and with more fat than you lost

The tachycardia you described can have serious effects, both short term and long term.

One of the ingredients in hydroxycut is caffeine, but the amount is not stated. Combining caffeine with amphetamine (the active ingredient in adderall) is not a good idea.

Taxing the cardiovascular system may create problems that you won't notice for years. Be careful, follow the instructions on your prescription, and avoid diet aids while on adderall unless you have discussed them specifically with your physician or pharmacist.

As Karen84 said, hydroxycut contains caffeine among other ingredients (Garcinia cambogia, Gymnema sylvestre, chromium polynicotinate and green tea). I was not able to see any interactions between the other said ingredients but as for caffeine, it affects all stimulants such as Adderall.

While the interaction depends on the amount of caffeine ingested or included in the hydroxycut, it would be best to avoid any form of caffeine or caffeine-containing agents while on stimulant medication.
